Natalie is a Registered Provisional Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists. Prior to joining Grey Matter, Natalie worked in school systems providing psychological assessment services. She also has training and experience in behavioural therapy as well as consultation and coaching in the area of behavioural therapies. She has experience working with children and their families from preschool age up to the transition into adulthood.
Natalie holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Psychology, and a Master of Education in School and Applied Child Psychology. After completing her graduate degree, Natalie completed further training in psychological assessments for children and adolescents; play therapy; consultation with schools and families; developmental, social, and emotional concerns; and working as a part of interdisciplinary health and education teams.
Natalie builds trusting relationships with children, youth, and families by combining a professional approach with sensitivity to the individual needs of the people she works with. Natalie has a particular passion for working with autism spectrum disorders, trauma, and complex developmental, behavioral or emotional concerns. Natalie’s focus, whether she is asked to conduct assessment, consultation or intervention, is the promotion of optimal behavioral functioning, development and psychological well-being for her client, their family, and their communities.
