Welcome

As a psychologist specializing in men’s mental health, I recognize that the emotional well-being of men is often overlooked in our society. The stigma surrounding vulnerability and mental health struggles can leave many men feeling isolated and unsupported, particularly when it comes to issues like anxiety, depression, relationships, online dating, attachment, and trauma. Despite this the mental health system frequently falls short in providing tailored support for men. My goal is be a part of the efforts to address this gap.

When we're living on autopilot, it feels like someone else is driving.

Our brains have developed an unconscious decision-making system so we can take care of routine tasks. It prevents us from overloading. However, modern life has hijacked our lives in such a way that the mechanism designed to protect us is disengaging us.

I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist with The College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP) and a member of the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA). I completed my Bachelor of Arts Degree with a Specialization in Psychology in Montreal, Quebec at Concordia University, and my Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Capella University. My Undergrad thesis focused on neuroplasticity which sparked a growing passion for the complexity and potential of the human mind.

I draw from the most relevant elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Psychoanalytic Therapy into a truly unique therapeutic approach that is structured, effective, and at the same time ultra-personalized to every client. One size fits all doesn’t live here. If it’s not working for you then it’s not working for me.

I practice and am certified in trauma-informed care through Alberta Health Services (AHS).

I work with adults and teens experiencing grief, trauma, anxiety, panic attacks, loss, self-harm, suicide ideation, life/work-related stress, relationship difficulties, emotional regulation, and borderline personality disorder (BDP).

Unconscious beliefs are almost always at the core of your emotions, behaviors, and thinking. They can be changed, but you will have to do more than just consciously will yourself to be different. For effective change of unconscious beliefs, the best approach is to gain a deeper understanding and awareness of how these beliefs are impacting your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours and ultimately your well-being.
